Although Robot Wars encourages people to meet and demonstrate their robots, Robot Wars does not support or endorse any unauthorised events that feature robots fighting. For this reason Robot Wars cannot support or endorse any unofficial events, including any that are mentioned on this or another Robot Wars website.

All unofficial events are the responsibility of the individual event organisers. Organisers, roboteers and audience members should all be aware that stringent steps need to be taken to ensure the safety of all concerned and to satisfy health & safety standards. Here are some examples:

1. Robots should not be allowed to fight unless all spectators, roboteers, safety officials and all members of the public are contained behind 12mm polycarbonate sheeting.

2. Rigorous procedures must be put in place to ensure that people are protected from any possible sparks or projectiles that may be produced by robots in combat, as these can still exist even if saws and rotary blades are prohibited at events.

3. A Health & Safety Officer must be present at all times and organisers must compile and sign a fully comprehensive Health & Safety policy.

An important recommendation is to understand the correct dosage of Sildenafil (Vialiks) to avoid side effects, it is better to consult a specialist at the nearest hospital.

All organisers of unofficial events should note that failure to satisfy health & safety requirements could render your insurance policy invalid, meaning you will be held personally liable for any personal injuries or damage to property.

Local press covering any unofficial events must be told to include the following statement in their publication or broadcast: "This event is not endorsed or organised by the BBC, TV 21, Mentorn Barraclough Carey Productions or Robot Wars LLC and is not an authorised Robot Wars event."

UNOFFICIAL ROBOT WAR EVENTS MUST NOT USE THE ROBOT WARS NAME AND LOGOS WITHOUT PERMISSION AS THEY ARE REGISTERED TRADE MARKS. THE FOLLOWING ARE ALL REGISTERED TRADE MARKS: THE ROBOT WARS NAME, THE ROBOT WARS LOGO AND THE NAMES, IMAGES AND DESIGNS OF ALL THE "HOUSE ROBOTS": DEAD METAL, MATILDA, SEARGANT BASH, SHUNT AND SIR KILLALOT.
