Subject: 5.1.98 Update Date: Fri, 1 May 1998 21:12:14 EDT From: ROBOT WARS (ROBOTWARS@aol.com) Dear Robot Warriors, In my last update I wrote that the motion to allow RW98 to go forward would be heard on April 21. The Second Circuit Appeals Court instead decided to hear the motion on April 28. The motion was heard last Tuesday and the three judge panel said effectively that the status quo requires joint approval for RW98 and being that Profile Records is withholding approval for RW98 the court has denied the motion. Although I would have preferred a different outcome I remain hopeful that RW98 can still take place and I want you to know that I will make every effort to see that it does. Marc Thorpe
