AN ANNOUNCEMENT FROM BATTLEBOTS
GEARING UP FOR THE NEXT COMPETITION!
Greetings BattleBots enthusiasts. We know our website has been quiet
lately and that's only because we've been very busy locking down the
dates and place for our next BattleBots Competition. While we don't
have anything concrete yet, we are looking very seriously at a San
Francisco Bay Area event sometime in June 2000.
- This event would include ALL four weight-classes.
- It would be televised.
- All StompBots (walking robots) and Super Heavyweights must be
pre-approved by BattleBots Inc. (for safety and rule adherences)
- Additional new/updated rules may be implemented. For now use
BattleBots Inc. Competition Rules & Guidelines - Version 1.5
available at: http://www.battlebots.com/rules_index.html
Entry Forms will be made available on-line when the event date is
finalized. We will also issue an additional mass email at that time
specifying event dates, location, entry procedures for veterans and
newcomers, any new or updated rules, and entry
limitations/qualifications. This information will also be available
on our website at http://www.battlebots.com.
