PowerGrip®
Timing Belts have helically-wound fiberglass tension members
embedded in a Neoprene body to provide high strength,
excellent flex life, and high resistance to elongation.
The Neoprene body provides protection against grime,
grease, oil, heat, and moisture. The Nylon tooth facing
provides a durable wear surface for long service life.
The use of these belts eliminates lubrication and re-tensioning
to reduce maintenance and labor required on drive systems.
Timing
belt pitch is determined by the distance from center
to center of the teeth (in inches). It is shown in
the second part of the belt designation by a letter
or letters. Letters correspond to pitches as follows:
