Shredder
Evolution
We
upgraded from the fork lift truck steering motor used in Shredder
last year, and have been unable to believe the power this motor
produces in Evolution. It undoubtedly contributed a great deal
to Shredder Evolution winning it's first ever event at the
International Robot Rumble this year.

Barber-ous
II
Our
robot Barber-ous II uses one of your Mag C40's to drive the
weapon.
Prior to that
we used an Iskra motor, but seemed to be able to burn out a motor
almost every battle! The Mag has reduced our time to full speed
from about 10 sec to roughly 1 sec and barely gets warm.
Although it's
relatively heavy and big - it's bloody impressive and represents
better value than just about any alternative.
We are fairly
well known in the UK having taken part in the last 3 series of
Robot Wars and are probably a fair advert for the motor.
