At .020" (1/50") thick, a .5mm sheet offers the same high gloss finish with more strength than the .25mm sheet. With a weight similar to heavy card stock, this sheet is ideal as a veneer for flat surfaces with very small bumps or inconsistencies. It will wrap around a 4" pipe, but only bends in one direction, so its best suited for application on flat surfaces or pipes. It will not lie flat on compound curves, convex or concave surfaces.
Made from 6K 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber fabric, this product is 100% genuine carbon fiber. It has a high gloss finish on one side and is pre-textured on the back to bond to any surface, using 3M high-performance double-sided adhesive. It can be cut with scissors, a paper cutter, or a razor knife. No other sanding or prep work is required.

We offer optional 3M high performance, high temperature sheet adhesive. This adhesive is rated up to 400 degrees Farenheit! If you order your sheet with adhesive, you'll be sent enough to cover your entire carbon fiber panel. The adhesive will be shipped to you unattached with instructions so you can cut and form the sheet and adhesive to your liking.
