Solid Motor!

We purchased two of these for the drive system on a 60 pound RC bot prototype. These moved our system along pretty well until we added 25-30 lbs of drag -They bogged down for obvious reasons at that point!! I'm glad they were made to take a beating! Still running!

Hubs?

These are strong motors but where do you find a wheel hub that will mate with an 11mm shaft? I haven't found a decent solution after a lot of looking.

I have purchased a left and right gear motor for some mining equipment that our business is manufactured. The motor is driving a 60 pound wheel with no difficulty. It will run off a 12 volt car battery all day with no over heating. Great motor.

I bought a left and a right gearmotor to drive the tracks on my rc dozer that weighs around 50 pounds. I'm very happy with the outstanding torque, smooth quiet running, and overall high quality. They should last a long time.

Gear Motor for RC Dozer

I bought two also for a dozer project (one for each track) and these motors have a lot of power for their small size. My dozer is about finished and it weighs in around 75lbs and the motors have plenty of power for it. Could use a little bit more power, but they are somewhat slow with allot of torque, good for my application. I connected the motors to a old car window switch, and then directly to a lawn mower battery. Window switched are connected to servos to control the forwards and reverse.

AME212 Gear Motor

Designs were fairly spot on. I cut the shafts down easily with a hack saw. Quiet running - good performance. I purchased both the RH and LH for my dozer project.

Overall, this was a great motor for our 30lb bot. We used it as a drive motor because the position of the shaft made the mounting of the motor easy. The only problem we did have was finding the right sized bolts for mounting because they are metric (The right size is 6).
