This high-voltage 5A UBEC switching DC-DC regulator is used when your ESC doesn't have a BEC or when your onboard BEC won't handle your needs. When paired with a 3-10 cell lithium battery, it outputs consistent, safe voltage for your receiver, gyro and servos. Using this UBEC, your receiver can draw power directly from your primary battery pack, so there's no need for an additional battery for your receiver. Provides much greater power efficiency than a linear mode UBEC. Significantly reduces heat emissions so you won't face the same overheating problems that occur frequently with linear BECs.
Features:
Designed with an advanced switch mode DC-DC regulator IC, the max efficiency of the chip is up to 92%.
Very large output current.
Output short-circuit protection function.
A metal shield covers almost all the electronic components, and a filter is attached with the output wires to significantly reduce the electromagnetic interference.
Accepts wide range of input voltages (8V-42V)
Safe power on with polarity protection function. If the input polarity is not correct, the UBEC won't work, but it will not be damaged.
Shows working status with an LED indicator which lights up when the output is in normal range.
Includes switch to turn output on or off.
