It is approximately 30 weight oil (Traxxas does not list exact weight), comes in a 1/2 oz (approximately) bottle and is clear. </font></p>
<p><font color="00ff66" size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Silicone damper (shock) oil is better than petroleum shock oil because silicone oil is not affected by temperature.</font></p>
