Great drive solution for a wide range of robots. I'm using these in my 12lb wedge and 30lb spinner and they're great for both applications.

These motors are hands down the best option for driving 30 or 60 pound combat robots. In a stint of massive overkill, I used four to drive my 30 pound rammer. The motors had no trouble with my three inch wheels in high gear, and acceleration to 15mph was nearly instantaneous.
The only things you can do to increase their reliability further are to support the shaft very well, support the rear of the motor, and zip-tie in the brushes to prevent them from popping out during impacts.

I used these in every version of my 30 pounder Spazz Monkey and they worked flawlessly. Using low gear, I was able to push around 60 pound robots with no problem.
