Robot MarketPlace - RCE225 RC Large Dual Relay Switch

The bigger brother to the RCE220, for when you need to swtich higher currents (up to 24 amps)

Switch two things on and off with one transmitter stick! Using only one channel output from your RC receiver, you can drive two independent motors, contactors, or pneumatic/hydraulic solenoids. Great for remotely-operating some of our larger solenoids or relays. Plus, a simple wiring configuration also converts this to a mechanical H-bridge which is perfect for running a single linear actuator or motor in both forward/off/reverse.When used with an actuator, optional inputs from limit switches permit you to arrest motion in either direction.

Fault detection safely switches off both relays if receiver signal is lost.

Relay connections are via 0.25" spade terminals (included).

Engine Friend

We use this relay to start and stop the engines on remote control lawn mowers. The single version is great for switching on/off headlights. Not one flaw has ever came up. Highly recommended. And when you buy from Robot Market Place, the leads are already soldered in place.

Great product for alot of uses!!

Am currently using it for a linear actuator and works great. I had originally had it hooked up to a mag motor for a project. One thing to keep in mind is not to over current the relays around 24amps because they have a tendency to stick or weld closed. But are fairly easy to replace if the relay goes bad, for a merely couple of dollars.

Good product, one problem.

I use two of these as cut-rate speed controllers for my robot. They're working great so far, but I have one complaint. The servo lead has a plastic ridge on the connector that makes it impossible to plug into my receiver pack (Spektrum). The ridge was easily removed with a hobby knife, but the fact these required modification to fit prevents me from giving them 5 stars.
