Must Have Gyro Switch

I have been using this switch for several years to turn my gyros off & on. Many of my fellow club members use them without any problems.

very handy

this allowed me to "in essence" turn my esky 0704 gyro's off and on, even though they aren't designed for that. a must have for me and my foamies

Works well as throttle cut-off

This switch works well as an emergency throttle cut-off for electric motors on UAVs or RC aircraft. It is very light, very small, and is a drop-in component - no extra/custom cabling required

Simply leave the yellow plug disconnected and plug your ESC into the Lower 3 pins. Leave the upper pins disconnected.

Dads Helper

I installed a GWS PG-02 Gyro in my dads 45Nitro Cub. He's nearing 77 and is somewhat shaky in the hands at times and tends to over control.His nick is "Wrong Way" so that gives you an idea of things. The gyro is hooked into the ailerons which are mixed with the rudder and elevator. This HELPS A LOT and gentles it out and now has auto recovery to boot! When it's time for me to take over I can just flip a switch and do my thing. On/Off-don't leave for the field without one!

I don't even think about a gyro without...

I don't even think about installing a gyro without this switch! You really just need to be able to disable the gyro in flight. This WORKS!

This is a an incredibly small and useful switch. I used it with a small gyro to attempt to calm a trail dragger aircraft which insists on ground looping. The switch operates to control the gyro whilst running up for take off and when airborne switch out the gyro to regain manual control. I'm still experimenting but the switch works well. The service from your company was exceptional.
