The ElectriFly Triton EQ is one of the best chargers I�ve ever used. Previous to this charger, I have used the cheaper ones that only charged one particular battery and didn�t have the possibility to discharge or the option of more than two charge rates. This charger not only allows me to charge various types of batteries, it could charge batteries with different plugs when combine with the squid adapter. I�ve been using this charger for about a year and a half now to charge batteries used on my robots and R/C cars and have yet to have any problems, compared to cheaper chargers which would have most likely gave up by now. It�s great to be able to completely discharge my NiCad batteries before recharging, prior to this charger I constantly ran into the problem of my batteries getting a memory. Another feature that I find useful in the Triton EQ is that the rate at which the battery is getting charging is displayed on the screen. The charger also tells you how long the battery has been charging, what voltage the charger is charging the battery (along with the amperage of course) the input and output of the charger, and the voltage of each battery cell. I would definitely recommend this charger to a friend. For the price it can�t be beat.

ElectriFly Triton EQ AC/DC Charger

Most chargers are either too cheap with no features or too expensive with much more than what is needed for charging your LiPo's or NiMH's or NiCd's. But the Electrifly has a high capability of options for charging all types of batteries. It is VERY user friendly. probably one of the easiest chargers to use with the most functionality available. The AC import is great. I definitely recommend buying this charger with the AC import over buying the Electrifly DC only input Charger. The charger says that the DC-powered one can supply more watts, but in reality you will most likely NEVER max out this charger's maximum power supply. Plus the DC charger is a pain because you need to buy an external power supply in order to plug into an outlet which is expensive.

It's not worth it to get the Triton 2.0 Chargers. I've used them before, and I actually like the Triton EQ's better. and I have used both the DC-only and the AC-input Tritons. The only different besides the fan is that the AC Triton sends out a certain amount of current based on the Ah capacity of Lipo's. Whereas you can tell the DC-input charger exactly how much current you want to charge your battery with... But to overcome this problem, just set the Ah capacity of your battery on the charger to higher than what the battery actually is. (example- your battery is 730mAh and you want to charge at 1 amp instead of the .7 amps that the charger is set to do at that Ah capacity, so set the charger to charge a 1000mAh Lipo, and more current will be put out.) I've set the charger to double and once even 2.5 times the capacity of what my batteries actually were because i had to charge faster, and the charger and batteries were absolutely fine.

The balancer works nicely. Just hook up your Lipo to both the balancer and the DC charging sockets, and you're good to go. The balancer attachment comes with the charger which was nice.

I highly recommend this product. It is one of the best LiPo, NiCd, NiMH chargers out there for a very reasonable price. You have a ton of control over your charging and it's VERY easy to use.
