Its single-cell LiPo battery charges in approximately 30 minutes and delivers flight times of 6–8 minutes, while full, 4-channel control provides the precision needed for flying in those tight spaces indoors. All you need to do is bind your DSM2 transmitter or module to the Blade mCX's receiver and your adventure into the new era of RC flight begins. Tiny perfection!

This thing is SO fun to fly! All the stories about how amazingly stable and easy to control this helicopter is are true. It really was up and away in the time it took to charge the battery and then bind to my DX6i transmitter, which it did with zero hassle.

As a reckless first time pilot I'll tell you it can survive some pretty gruesome crashes. Replacement parts are remarkably cheap, and you can tear it down and rebuild it (with the one included screwdriver) in a matter of minutes. I had no real prior knowledge about helicopters and I was able to learn as I went.

You shouldn't expect a speed demon as it can be a bit lacking in that regard. It WILL make an uncontrollable run for the nearest prevailing easterly if you even so much as consider flying it outside. For some reason it has a battery powered battery charger. With a second battery you'll have the one half charged by the time the other runs out.

The Blade MCX is soooooo SWEET!!!!!

Oh man! I love this little helicopter. It does not weigh a thing and can land in the palm of your hand. With its counter rotating blades, the thing is super stable. A newbie can pick it up and fly it fairly easily. I even got glow in the dark blades for mine. This chopper is forgiving too. I think it is probably due to its weight that it can take a little punishment and be fine. It definitely is not like bigger choppers that will shred blades when you don't know what you are doing. I would recommend getting an additional center shaft (the one that holds the flybar).
