Billy, sorry for the inconvenience. After we got your email, we checked our entire stock of these cables and couldn't find any others that were reversed. It appears that yours just slipped through QC somehow. I don't think it should ever happen again, this is the first time I've heard of something like this happening. A new one is on the way to you already. Sorry that the bad one made its way to you.

Poor quality
I purchased 4 of these. The gauge of wire looks good and the connections are solid. "Y" ends have a shield to help protect the male prongs so that's all good.
My only problem is that one of the four was built backwards --> the white signal wire and the black ground wire were reversed when the cable was built. This caused me lots of pain to find and diagnose in my system. Its easy to see if you inspect the cables prior to use, so I'd suggest that others make sure they are assembled correctly before using. If it were not for the 25% defect rate, I'd rate this as 5 stars. As it is, I'm only going to give it 2 stars.
