This Planetary Gear Box is a VERY durable, precise, high quality gearbox with a RE-260 motor built into the gearbox. A wide range of gear ratios can be attained, depending on how many stages you decide to add (8 different possibilities!). Two kinds of crank arms are supplied for a wider range of functions.

Buy multiple motor kits and you can combine stages to further increase torque and decrease speed. 3 kits in series would provide 1 shaft revolution every 4 days! Great for experimenting with gear ratios. Some assembly required.

5/12/2009 Joe	Tamiya 72001 I needed a geared-down relatively slow RPM motor/gearbox for an invention, and I wasn't sure what the necessary speed would be. This motor gave me the flexibility to experiment with gear ratios, plus a range of DC voltages to vary speeds. This flexibility works out well for me. Quality is very high for plastic moldings. I would definitely buy again.
