These micro antennas are fully assembled, tested, and come with gold-plated connectors. No soldering is required since the receiver male connector pin is crimpable as well. The overall length is about 7 inches, and weighs a mere 0.6 grams. Ready to fly.

For use with original receiver antenna length of 36 to 40 inches.
Mount antenna at least 1 inch away from any metal, carbon, wiring, batteries, etc.

1. Check the range of your receiver with the factory antenna and record the results for comparison.
2. Cut your receiver antenna wire leaving 4 to 8 inches. Strip 0.125 inches of insulation from the end.
3. Solder (preferred) or crimp the connector pin to the antenna wire and apply a 0.5 inch piece of heat shrink tubing.
4. Glue or tape the antenna body to your model aircraft. Best range is achieved by running the antenna wire vertically.
5. Always range check your aircraft before flying. Check with and without the motor running.

Note: The overall range with this micro antenna is reduced compared to the factory antenna, and in most cases it is insignificant. Designed for the 35, 72, & 75 MHZ bands. Weight is 0.6 grams with connectors.
