Enable your robot to perform certain functions when the bumper switch is activated by contact. Kit includes a pair of simple bumper switches custom built for the VEX Robotics Design System. Ruggedized Bumpers allow the switch to be triggered by large impacts without sustaining damage. Switches send a signal to the Microcontroller when they are triggered. These switches are great for signalling when a robot has hit an obstacle.

Provide feedback to Microcontroller as events "happen".
