Extra alarm accessories | *TOP SECRET* let's just say nobody's gettin my car or car stereo without losing some fingers |
The Clarion MAX 2256 double-din head unit is a great choice for vehicles
that have a stock double-din opening for the stereo. |
The MAX 2256 brain has to be remotely mounted, this contains additional circuitry as well as the (unused) 4-channel amplifier for the head unit. |
The Clarion TX7101 TV Tuner allows two different video sources (one, in my case-more to come) to be displayed on the MAX2256 LCD screen. |
Here you can see the EPX2 unit and some extra alarm components being installed on the side of the subwoofer box supports. |
Here is the same shot, after all covers have been installed with plexiglass windows. I built covers to flush-mount cover these access panels. |
The right side of the assembly (here shown near completion) houses the right side rear-fill MbQuart 130.03 and the fuse panel for the individual components, accessible behind a plexiglass window. You can see the rear battery compartment just around the corner. |
The right side of the enclosure houses the other side of the MbQuart rear-fill components as well as the vertically-mounted Clarion VCR. Had to do a bit of tweaking for the seat belt strap to function freely, but it ended up working great. |
